iPhone microwaved

Thank you, OP. You have redeemed this thread. Please don't get distracted when making frozen margaritas to go with your nachos. You could lose a hand if you forget to let go of the phone when you put it in the blender.
 
I'm crying laughing as I read. OP, you should probably take responsibility. They will probably not be able to tell that it was microwaved unless something was cooked, which they will probably find later... You are going to do what you feel is right anyway. Update us on how this works out!
 
Where in your mind did you go "oh I forget the salsa let me set my phone in the microwave"

Why in the microwave?
Why not on the bar or something?
 
A microwave is a high powered transmitter that directly injected RF into the phone. They're going to plug their diagnostic stuff into the phone and find all kinds of stuff that half works or doesn't work at all and their question will be "Were you standing next to an open AT&T transmitter board or did you put it in a microwave?" and that will be the end of that. Unless you get a really, really generous genius you will most likely either shell out $200 for another phone or you'll go somewhere else and get something cheaper.

i love when people say stuff like this. actually if i was worth 100 million i really couldnt care less if someone stole my iphone.
 
What I'm enjoying in this thread is seeing the ads for microwaves at the bottom to the page and wondering which brand is better to microwave a phone in.
