Tried everything in this thread and nothing is working. The iPhone list doesn't even show up under Widgets on Mac settings because my old phone that I gave away is signed into my dad's iCloud account. Hopefully they fix this soon, right now I'm unable to get phone notifications on my Mac at all.

What’s interesting is I have mirroring working and iPhone widgets show up in the widget menu if I enable that, but iPhone apps and notifications do not work. There isn’t a “mirror iPhone notifications from” list or even that title on the screen like there should be. I poked around and the notifications I believe are making it to the Mac as they end up in ~/Library/Group Containers/group.com.apple.UserNotifications/Library/UserNotifications/Remote/default. I see the folders update timestamp when a notification hits my phone. Must be a bug.

I also tried a workout with a live notification on my iPhone screen but it would not show up on my Mac with my iPhone sitting next to it.

Have you tried to remove the iPhone from Live Mirroring and resetup? I had to do that step as well and I have full notifications and live activites working on my Mac again.

Yes I have done it multiple times with reboots. In hindsight I would have revoked my 13PM before getting rid of it, as I think it is a bug with a replacement phone. Others have had luck adding a second phone, selecting the phone they want and then revoking the extra phone. I just don’t have a second phone.

I gave this another try, with the added step of rebooting my iPhone between turning handoff back on. So
1. Open settings
2. Turn off Handoff
3. Reboot
4. Turn Handoff back on

And all worked again.

This is the one that worked for me, needed to reboot the phone between turning off handoff and turning it back on.

Mine magically worked after doing this, but I also renamed my new phone from the default "____'s iPhone", which might've caused some conflicts with the old one.

Doing the handoff steps and renaming my iPhone did not help with notifications or showing iPhone apps in the App Library.

Genius step to reboot with handoff disabled. I tried all of the above several times. The rebooting with handoff disabled, re-enable after reboot, it worked perfectly.

However, there feels like an underyling bug still. I am getting constant "connection interrupted" when using basic app functionality on my iPhone during a mirroring session.

Also having issues with a new 17 pro, after trying all of the above tips, it lets me set it up as new each time and it works, but as soon as the connection stops or I unlock my iPhone, it states "not enabled" and "iPhone changed" and makes me start over again.

Thanks you so much! This work, after this i reboot and enter to settings->Docks and appears the new iphone !

I have a related problem. While iPhone mirroring works, "Notifications from iPhone" does not. That menu remains empty and does not get populated with iPhone apps. The feature worked fine before updating the mac to OS 26. I tried removing the mac from iPhone mirroring and setting it up again, still no notifications.

Same here. Must be a bug.

Some apps suddenly appeared in the previously empty "Notifications from iPhone" list. It happened after I updated them on the iPhone. None of the other apps did. I tried deleting an app and reinstalling it, hoping it would show up in the "Notifications from iPhone" section, but no luck. Also, I'm not sure if the update was the only or main trigger, as I had tried a million other things before the update.

Update: After restarting the Mac, the app I reinstalled and a newly installed app now show up in the list

Update 2: Maybe this will help other people having the same issue. I removed the Mac from "iPhone Mirroring" on my iPhone. I revoked access to the iPhone in the "iPhone Mirroring" app on the Mac. I also changed the name of the Mac and restarted both devices. I set up iPhone mirroring again and ran app updates on the iPhone. The updated apps began appearing in the "Notifications from iPhone" list.

If you still have access to your old iPhone used for mirroring, delete your Mac from the Settings menu on that iPhone (General > Airplay and Continuity). This method ultimately helped me set up the iPhone 17 Pro with iPhone mirroring.

Updated my 17PM to 26.1b2 and now all my apps are showing in the mirror notifications list. iPhone apps are showing in spotlight now too if I enable that. Mac is still on 26.0.1, btw. Seems this issue is being fixed in 26.1.

Pretty certain there is an iOS 26 thing that apps had to update to make this work (annoying). More and more apps are showing back up on macOS as notifications that were not working in day one and week one releases.

What I am still struggling with (namely on my work managed device) is reliabiity with iPhone Mirroring. Do not spend enough time on my personal Mac to truly test. But I am having the same issues as mentioned previously - sluggish, disconnects frequently, cannot maintain a session, etc.
