Hi everybody,

I have a real annoying problem. From time to time my iphone shows me that I have missed calls from numbers I answered and talk to.

Example : Yesterday I answered a phone call, 2 hours later I got notification that I missed a call from the person, but I didn't.

I have iPad and my Mac connected to answer the calls with FaceTime. I also have Apple Watch.

I had the same problem with T-mobile and now with At&t, so this is not the carrier.

How can I get rid of these bogus missed calls notifications?

Thanks.

I have this issue periodically. It started when I enabled NumberSync on my AT&T line. I've just learned to live with it. About a year ago, I called AT&T and they disabled NumberSync on my line. The problem went away. As soon as I re-enabled it, the problem returned within a few hours.

I think it happens because multiple devices are ringing simultaneously when NumberSync is enabled and when you answer the call on one device, the other devices erroneously report the call as a missed call. That then gets synced back to the phone, which proceeds to list the call twice -- once as answered and once as missed. Usually, the missed call shows up on my phone anywhere between several minutes to an hour after I answered that call on my phone.

Thanks for you answer. I think it is not Att problem, but Apple one. I had T-mobile for 1.5 months and had exactly the same issue. I experimented a little bit and I found that it is my iMac problem.
