iPhone MobileMe sync menu - "Notes" disappeared

Hi,

I've just noticed that my Mail.app on my Mac does not show the new notes I created on my iPhone.
I checked the options in my iPhone and the "Notes" option under MobileMe just disappeared? I've deleted the account and re-added it - nothing changed.

Does anyone have an idea what I can do to fix this?

Really appreciate your help.
