Hi all,

I need to take my iPhone in for repair to a Apple Store as I have a black dot on the camera.

I'm running iOS 7 (as a paid developer) so am I okay to take in with the phone running iOS 7 ? or do I need to downgrade to the previous official iOS release ?

Just concerned they will see iOS 7 and say they cannot accept an iPhone which is running a beta OS under NDA..

Thanks,
Mark

I think you need to downgrade. Whether or not you are a legit developer, they have no way to rule out if a beta bug causes the issue. They need to run their diagnostic software on a stable OS.

Call first and explain. My sleep/wake button failed and it was replaced while running iOS 7 beta. But that was a hardware issue. Yours has the potential to be a software issue, so they may want to see it in iOS 6 first before repairing or replacing.
