"iPhone needs to cool down before you can use it" error message???

Wow people, read the rest of the thread before posting and you'll save yourself from sounding like someone who just wants to increase their number of posts...

This same thing just happened to me. Phone wasn't being used, sitting on the desk inside an air conditioned room. I received a text and immediately got that warning. I was able to take a screen shot (attached).

I rebooted and it works fine now.

I had the same happen to me two days ago (although I don't have Air Conditioning, England is just cold at the moment!).

Maybe there's a bug with the text messaging app.

This just happened to me again.

It's about 23 degrees Celsius in here (73.4 Farenheit) and the warning came up as soon as a text message came in.

The phone hasn't been doing anything.

Had this happen to me for the first time yesterday as well. It's inside my 75*f air conditioned house. Got a text, and bam.. Temp warning

Mine did the same dam thing for the first time yesterday... It was just sitting on my nightstand and it was 68 degrees in my house... That's crazy to me
