iPhone not backing up to iCloud

iPhone telling me it has not backed up to the iCloud since 12/19/14. But in Phone Summary it shows set to automaticly back up to iCloud and goes thru sync with no issues, but date on automatically there also shows 12/19/14. Can back up to computer manually with no issue, but is not checked . Checked iCloud settings on computer all are checked except "Back to my Mac"
iPhone 5s, 32 gb and running 8.1.2.

Any ideas?

How big is your collection of photos/videos in your Camera Roll? Usually a very large Camera Roll prevents an iCloud backup if you're too close to the default 5 GB limit for iCloud. Check your photo usage in Settings to see if your photo library is >4 GB ... if that's whats going on, time to transfer/delete things from Camera Roll.
