Hi, about 2 months ago my brother jail broke my iphone 4S

didnt ask him to do it but he just did it and that was that but anyway ive just dropped my phone and the screen slowly blacked out and when i turned it on it had the startup apple logo with writting above it saying [NAND]_ with 4 lines of commands.

I then went on to trying to do a restore and im getting a error 1611 couldnt be completed..
really need my phone working as im going away in 2 days anyone know anything then please let me know. thanks...

When you dropped it you broke it and caused hardware damage.
Hardware damage cannot be fixed with an iTunes restore.
I'd bring it to Apple and see what they say.

thanks for reply, ive got the screen on my phone now where it shows a cable being plugged into itunes isnt that anything?

Try restoring on another computer just to rule out its not a hosts file issue with that computer.
But JB a 4S has nothing to do with the phone not restoring.
Most likely you broke an internal component judging by that error code you received on the screen.
