Iphone not saving pictures

I have an iPhone 4S with the 6 os installed. Had ut a year-no previous problems. Yesterday I took some pictures and a few of them did not save. Worked fine later. Tried syncing to pc and the photos were not in dcim folder. Is there anyway to get them? What would cause this to happen?

You got any storage available?
If your device is full it won't be able to save more stuff obviously.

There is still storage. And later I had no problem getting it to save picyures

How much space you got left?

1.5 gigs

I'd try a restore.
Sounds like a software bug.
