iphone not starting

I have an iphone 3gs and i turned it off and now i try to turn it on.It wont turn on i press the power button and it shows me the silver apple icon and then shuts down:/.. i tried the home and power button but nothing.. help plz

Restore it thru itunes.

If you have a tethered jailbreak, then rejailbreak to boot back up. Otherwise, restore it in DFU mode.

it is not recognizable through itunes :/
