So i just bought a new 27" iMac and when i plugged in my iphone im not able to transfer new music. How can i format my iphone for my new mac? any help is appreciated!

John T macrumors 68020 Sep 2, 2010 #2 If you previously had a Mac and it's still in your possession, you could do as I did. Use Migration Assistant to transfer data from the old to new Mac. You then effectively have your old computer on a new machine.
