iPhone Not Syncing

Hey guys,

For a while now my iPhone has not been syncing and I have tried different ports, different cables and restarting my MacBook which hasn't gotten it to show in iTunes 🙁 I have no idea why so if someone could help that would be great 🙂

I have an iPhone 3G (up to date, I think), MacBook 2.16GHz (2/3 years old) and iTunes 9.1.1 (12) 🙂

I've had the same issue and stupidly assumed it was because of the jailbreak. I did a restore last night and the only thing that syncs are apps. I even deleted itunes then reinstalled and nothing still. Does anyone have a clue about this issue?

Try a different computer or uninstall and reinstall iTunes.

Ah re-installing iTunes worked, wonder what caused it to not work in first place?

It happens all the time. If someone knew the answer to that, we'd have a sticky for it. I'm thinking something gets corrupted (like one of the drivers), and reinstalling allows it to go back to the original.
