Android fan here.... I didn't expect this news, but its not a total surprise... Samsung has royally f-ed up the release of their latest two flagship phones (Galaxy Nexus and Galaxy S2), and Motorola's Droid RAZR has been having operational issues.
The iPhone 4S is running a less featured operating system, but I can completely understand people selecting a smartphone platform with less bugs than a Droid RAZR, and one that is actually available on 3 carriers (unlike the Galaxy Nexus, which is STILL exclusive to Verizon).
Hopefully Google/Samsung/whomever will get their act together in the face of this news.
-EDIT-
P.S. No, I won't be buying an iDevice. iTunes is the spawn of the devil.
