i've pre-ordered the iPhone 3g on the O2 UK £35/per month contract, and it says unlimited data and wifi.. but on the calling plan on "My O2" it says mobile internet over GSM = 20p.
just wondering what the over GSM bit is.. is that the same as 3g and edge or different, im confused.. this is probably really obvious but i dont know... can someone clarify when i would be charged for using the internet?? cheers

That sounds like an error or relic piece of code. The iPhone has unlimited data on all plans in the UK so you pay no extra charges and have nothing to worry about.

GSM is 1G mobile technology and can only be used for calls or very VERY slow data (WAP basically).
