Product placement is a beautiful thing, especially when it's an Apple product. We see them all the time on 24 and Spooks but finally the iPhone has arrived on television. The most recent episode of Numb3rs has an iPhone prominently featured in a scene. Charlie's father, Alan, returns Amita's iPhone to her after she left it in the hallway. The iPhone can be seen clearly with the Apple logo also evident.

The question is: Why would someone leave their iPhone lying around?

I saw it used on a new show (which was free on iTunes, and it was terrible) about Vampire detectives or something. Of course, they were using it to take pictures of crime scenes (some in low lighting) and miraculously, she was ABLE TO GET CLOSE UP's...the worst feature on the iPhone was being used in the advertising.

Sounds like a really bad script to just feature an iPhone...

Haha, that's what I thought, but it did advance both storylines for Amita and Fleinhart so I guess the iPhone is a great way to move along romantic stories.

All these spottings remind me of when the OQO was on 24 and used by the bad guys. Must have been season 4, I guess.

Spencer and Brody have them on The Hills (yes, my wife watches it so I catch it from time to time). Then channel surfing, I saw one of the guys in the new Backstreet Boys video on VH1 had it. Also, saw Mike Tyson with one on one of those Entertainment Tonight type shows

Channel surfing. Riiiiiiiiight. Likely story.

Apple always gets the best product placement. I guess that comes with having the best product. I wonder how much they pay for thier logo to be displayed so often.

This one really pissed me off..

For anyone who has seen the MTV show "Life Of Ryan" which is about a 17 year old spoiled skateboarder who has an iPhone and uses it alot during the show.

One scene recently, shows him on the phone with someone and after he gets off he harshly throws the phone down on a table, screen side down.

It was pure disgust.

They had one tonight on "Chuck," used by superhot blonde agent Sarah (Yvonne Strahovski). She used it to take a picture of NSA agent Casey (Adam Baldwin) in a rather compromising position, tied up in bed in his underwear.

Missed that one. Knew I should have paused it.... ;)

Oh, the superhot blonde had a powerbook at the end, with the logo facing the camera. Pretty good product placement. She had the Apple logo facing the camera with the iphone too. Did I mention she was superhot? :)

There are 2 or 3 on NCIS as well. As for the comment about the vampire detective show, you might be talking about Moonlight, but I could be wrong. its actually a pretty good show.

one was one house on tuesday too. House gets it as a secret santa gift and says "either this was more than $25 or i am seriously starting to doubt steve job's business strategy."
