Hey,

I'm looking to get some advice, I currently own a Samsung S24 Ultra, but I'm looking to get back into the Apple ecosystem after recently purchasing a MacBook.

I'm not a "Power User" as such, and the Samsung S24 Ultra far out performs for my use-case, generally outside of standard phone tasks (calls and texts) I only really use email, internet browser, Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, eBay and take photos / videos of my family and pets (storage isn't an issues as all photos and videos will be offloaded to the cloud). I don't game or do any creativity type tasks on my phone but would like something with a reliable battery and fast charging.

I've had a look at what's available to me within my budget (£600), which puts me in the range of:
  1. iPhone 16e 128GB - £449
  2. iPhone 14 128GB - £589
  3. iPhone 15 128GB - £599
  4. iPhone 17e 256GB - £599
The plan is to sell this handset next year when the anticipated "20th Anniversary" handset launches, so I need to take that into consideration with my purchase.

What's everyone opinion on what would be the "best" suited iPhone for my use-case?

TIA.

I wote for 16e. Than u would have a nice step up with the 20th anniversary phone.
Although I would not hold my breath for anything super special since the folding phone comes out this year.

The 14 is the worst especially for that price point

I wouldn't get anything other than the Pros, especially because of camera limitations on the e-phones

16e at that price for a year seems like the best option. Lowest cost, still a very good phone for your uses, and saves you $$ for your next one.
