Iphone order delayed even when ordered in the first 5 hours

    so i was just wondering, how many people got their orders delayed after ordering online through the apple store. I ordered my phone around 6-7 am eastern time. and then my sister ordered hers at like 1 pm. but the thing is that i got an email saying that mine would be delayed to 1-2 weeks. my sister never got the email. so weird...

    when did you get an email saying your order would be delayed? When you ordered it was it showing an Oct 14 delivery?

    i got it on saturday morning, and yes, it was showing me tha tit would deliver on the 14th when i first put in my order

    I'm with the second poster, what make you think it is behind? The promise day is still the 14th, Friday.

    Thats so wacky - Mine stil says processing so I'm thinking i might have the same problem as you..>What colour and GB model did u get?

    well heres the thing, apple emailed me saying that it was delayed 1-2 weeks. but then today i just checked and the status is updated to preparing for shipment. so i have no idea what to expect. I ordered the white 32 gb from AT&T

    Did your sister also order the White, 32GB, AT&T? If not, perhaps they just sold out their launch-day allotment of that particular model by 7AM EST, but still had the model she ordered at 1PM.
