I consider talk of what Apple's stock is doing a form of spoiler.
I don't think it's any indicator. Just the slightest misinformation can affect Apple's stock. Maybe right now there's a rumor about the chip in the Shuffle's earbuds: It's not a controller chip, it's actually a mind controlling device!

Good time to put beer in fridge. Don't have any tonic water for my traditional keynote-GT, so beer will have to do. :)

I was trying to read some non-tech blog and I was some headline about the iPhone so I quickly closed the window. This couple of hours after the end of keynote is the hardest couple of hours for any fanboy. I have nothing to do now, so why don't you speed it up and put the stream Apple.

I really don't know why Apple stopped live streams of special events. I remember watching MacWorld 2002 live over dialup!

Not sure if the interwebbitubes have pipes big enough for that.
These days they would get slammed! :)

I wonder about the long delay before they post the stream. Can't be encoding; the horsepower they could use could crush the vid in a blink. Transfer to the server?

Beers are now in fridge!

I *think* it a question of damage control, if something goes wrong, especially in the demo segments. There are old bloopers on YouTube that will never go away...

Maybe that's a reason. I remember the most recent blooper was when Phil Schiller referred to Microsoft ActiveSync as "ActiveStink". It was there in the keynote stream, but Apple edited it out from the iTunes version of the video.

Edit: Apple posted a page detailing iPhone OS 3.0 features. It also says:

Apple.com said:
Come back later today to watch the presentation about the new SDK and get a sneak peek at iPhone OS 3.0 software.
Any time now ;)

Edit: I haven't seen or read anything about today's event yet. I'm still "spoiler-free" :p

I feel like this is the hard core section.....any one still hanging on?

I think I may test safari's reload speed on this page?

I think the Keynote in January was available about 5:30pm EST, so that means we have about 30 minutes to go.

Damn, it’s gonna be about 2 hours since the end.. I think the Macworld stream was up pretty quickly, I guess we shouldn’t wait so long now (since the event is held in the Apple campus :) ).
