I don't think it's any indicator. Just the slightest misinformation can affect Apple's stock. I *think* it a question of damage control, if something goes wrong, especially in the demo segments. There are old bloopers on YouTube that will never go away...
Maybe that's a reason. I remember the most recent blooper was when Phil Schiller referred to Microsoft ActiveSync as "ActiveStink".
