Hi -

I have a question for people who are using the latest OS 4.

I know now we have "backgrouding" enabled in OS 4 and we can play music apps such as pandora, slacker in the background.

My question is, do "iPod controls" control play,pause/next/previous etc. for those third party music apps too? OR does that need to be implemented by the third party app developer by using Apple APIs?

I know there is this app called MusicControls (Cydia) that controls the play/pause/next/forward for almost all the third party music apps using iPod's standard popup controls.

I wish apple does something similar in OS 4.

Can someone confirm?

iPod background controls are Apple private API at the moment... I can see that changing soon tho.
