I was just sending a text in OS 4 to a friend and I noticed a mistake being underlined by a red line. I have to say the spell check is rather good, very similar to cut and paste. You just tap on the word that gets underlined and you pick a suggestion.

    Take a look for yourself:

Certainly a nice feature that wasn't made that public.

A quick search would have revealed this has been discussed before...

Does spell check replace auto correct? Or are they both there?

I can't wait to get iPhone OS 4 just because of this.

I seem to remember Jobs mentioning this in the Keynote, or at least it was on the slide which shows a cloud of new features.

    Edit: "Spell Check". It's at 9 o'clock.
