What happens once the picture is taken (assuming the device is stolen)? It has to be sent to an email account or such, no?

yes, you are given a choice of email/text.

i remember trying the app out a year ago, put my VIP4 in a safe mode loop. had to restore.

they might have worked out those bugs by now.

from what i remember, quite buggy.

Used that one for a short time on 4.3.3, worked well for me at the time.

Not sure how it runs now but iGotYa 1.2.8 was updated to fix crash issues with ios5 - if you try it out please let us know if it runs well 🙂

iGotYa works perfectly. Sometimes it's annoying how well it works because I'll enter my password incorrectly by accident

I just download the trial, say's you get 10 days of usage and it doesn't seem to have a limited functionality.
