iPhone periodically wakes up on the dock help?

My iPhone periodically (like every hour) wakes up when it's charging on the dock via usb adapter to wall socket and then goes back to sleep (as I do not slide to unlock). Did anybody else experience this with their iPhones? I just got the iPhone like two weeks ago and have short experience with it. I installed a lot of applications (like 50) so I think it's because of them.
Any ideas?
