Took over the weekend on a visit to my hometown. Used Camerabags "1962" filter to give it the nice contrasty b&w feel. That's the courthouse in the distance.

I love this pic! Was it actually taken using that app or did you take the pic with the stock camera app and then apply the filter with Camerabags?

We had a pretty good hailstorm here and took some pics.

The big pile of hail is a really crazy, the center of it goes down about 6 inches.

idk if it's just me - but i thought it was so cool when i could use the iPhone in 'Airplane Mode' - and be able to take pictures. i guess all my other phones had it - but weren't of any use to turn on without cell/wifi signal.

Me too. For a 2mp camera it takes some really good photos. Especially when you add on some nice camera apps....

Just another beautiful day on Venice Beach. This photo shows giant kites that somebody seems to fly all the time from a tent on the beach. South of where I am is the Venice boardwalk, north of where I am is the Santa Monica Pier.


Oh yes, it was also very nice that a large group of sorority girls decided to set up camp right next to where we were sitting
