That's great! Any others? Maybe on a website like Deviantart?
Thank you very much. :) I have one of a box but that's still with my professor. It looks like we'll be doing another drawing next week and that's it, which is unfortunate because I really like charcoal, probably my favorite medium so far.

That's too bad. Look forward to any other pieces you might snap with your iPhone. Thank you.

Panorama of Hofburg Imperial Palace in Vienna, Austria.

Made with seven photographs shot with iPhone camera today afternoon. Then optimized (magic wand symbol) with iPhoto and put together fully automatical in PhotoStitch -- a Mac/Win application that comes with almost each Canon Digital Camera.

In the second attachment you can see how PhotoStitch puts together the pieces. It's really very easy. Set the focal length in PhotoStitch to 37mm.

iphones are for proper photography.
All I need now is a proper photographer ;)

(I'm new to this forum - how do you guys make the images smaller? ...sorry about the big image!)

Hi,

I love the photo of the day thing on this site. I absolutely don't want to take anything away from it... It seems, though, that there isn't really a site out there to purely celebrate mobile photography.

I've just been looking into it (having submitted one of my own humble efforts to this site). I couldn't find anything devoted to non-professional, just-for-fun mobile photography, so I've now set one up.

Please contribute your iphone (and other mobile phone) pics at http://portablephotographer.blogspot.com/

All credit to Macrumors though, of course! :)

Nice one !

You're welcome, Reversed.

Can't stop playing with panoramas now. It's so easy. Okay they are not perfect but good enough for "domestic use" imho.

Just find a good object, make the photos with iPhone (landscape or portrait mode), overlap them a bit (about 1/4, the more the better), let iPhoto make it's magic wand thingy ("optimize"), put 'em into PhotoStich, arrange the photos in the correct order, choose "make panorama", answer "37 mm" to the focal length question and you're done. Cropped, resized and sharpened a bit with Macromedia (Adobe) Fireworks.

The next panorama is made by seven portrait-mode photos taken one hour ago. Geo Data here (or in the "Info" when you download the file here from MR).

The Liechtenstein Garden Palace in Vienna’s present-day Rossau district with giant trees.

The original baroque gardens were the most important representative of baroque horticultural art in Vienna alongside the Belvedere Palace garden.

The historic gardens.

At the photo can be seen the "new palace" (there are two large buildings).

I hope you like it.

Denver vs Dallas game 1 round 2. Denver won 109-95. Tip-off, and yes my hammy finger had to get in the way! :(
