That must be an English biscuit. I'll pass. I think I'll keep my tourism dollars here in the U.S.

(actually, I've already been to London - the Indian food there is SUPERB!!!
The Tower restaurant (below the river) was also excellent.
I was disappointed to learn that the only place that you cannot find "Thomas's English Muffins" is in England!)

An Iraq war protest on Santa Monica beach, right next to the pier. The sign said: "Each gravestone represents a soldier killed in Iraq. If we had one for each Iraqi killed in Iraq, the beach would be completely covered with graves as far as you can see."

A sobering message on a beautiful day.

I go to santa monica every week and see that every time, it is quite mind boggling how vast it would be. that part of the beach is very big, and each of those crosses is spaced about 2 ft from each other.

when I go to the beach next i'll take some up close pictures

London Aquarium

While my girlfriend's fancy digital camera struggled to take good pictures the iPhone was pretty good. One instance where a fixed focal length really helped.

That's one ugly fish though.
