iPhone 11 Pro iPhone Pro Max 11 recommending I use iCloud Photos.....thoughts?

I tried this and it's been on 1% for 10 hours...

Does anyone use iCloud photos, is it worth it or is their an alternative to save some storage space?

I’m equally stumped. I’m guessing he’s trying to upload the pictures and the iCloud usage is stuck at 1%.

How many pictures do you have? Sounds like it’s stuck.

I activated iCloud phones photos and then plugged my phone in and went to bed, when I woke up it was all done, about 22GB worth of pics and videos uploaded.

I use Family Sharing, with all of our phones backing up to iCloud. I do not use iCloud Photos as I don't want all the iCloud space being used up! lol

Yes it will save a ton of room on your phone but it is not very handy when trying to play videos and they are not downloaded
