Iphone Problem? [Verizon]

I pre-ordered my Iphone 6 from Verizon. It was estimated to be shipped on October 7th, but it ended up shipping early and I got it today.

Now here is my problem-

After opening up the phone, using it for a good amount of time, I noticed something when I went to charge it:

The bottom right screw is missing!

I almost thought there wasn't supposed to be a screw there until I looked at my friends 6.

So what do I do? Take it back to Apple or Verizon, or let it be?

You'll most definitely want to call Apple and have them take care of it

Am I better off going to the Apple store? I researched this topic a little bit and am scared because someone had this problem after the 4S release and was accused of tampering.

I doubt you would be accused of tampering... An Apple store would be your best bet

Alright cool. I won't be able to go until Thursday.

But in your opinion, do you think I will get a new phone or just a screw lol?

My guess would be an exchange.

I would imagine an exchange, also (they may want to send the unit to their engineering team to see if there's a manufacturing issue on one of the lines). Just be friendly and tell them the story of how you realized the problem and they should take care of you.

I went to the Apple store today and they gave me a new phone. I am guessing that they will be sending that one to be examined as the guy up there ^ mentioned.
