Is the iPhone 8/8+ (Product) RED leather iPhone cases darker than previous generations?

you would have to find a new one in box to compare, since the change colours and change after just a week or so of use it be hard to compare

This is brand new as of about a hour ago. It's the official one with the iPhone 8 listed on the front.
