North American living in Europe now and the iPhone Air is heavily discounted here and I'm thinking about upgrading. However, I do know that there are some features lost for EU users if I choose to buy my next phone in Europe.

I know I have a 2-year warranty, not 1-year. And I know that I lose iPhone mirroring. Not sure exactly what else the differences are.

But is there a way to get around this or is the NA or EU version locked to the iPhone as soon as it leaves the factory? My App Store account is NA.

Thanks!

The biggest practical difference in the Air is mmWave 5G (US only) and the software/regulatory differences driven by the DMA (EU only) otherwise no other differences that I’m aware of.

But this is what I mean and am looking for. What software differences would I have? iPhone mirroring, App Store side loading, etc.

Thanks!
