I moved from Verizon over to AT&T for the iPhone. So far I have had pretty lackluster radio performance. I'm wondering if these issues affect other iPhone users, or if it's just my phone. Keep in mind that when these issues arise, my phone is showing nearly all bars: 1. A good 15-20% of my calls connect normally, but the person on the other end cannot hear me at all. I have to hang up and try again. 2. I've heard reports that people have tried to call me and it goes straight to voice mail, even though my phone is sitting there with full bars and no EDGE usage. I recently found out about this issue when my friend (on Verizon) tried to call me while he was 5 feet away from me, and it went straight to voice mail. He tried again a few second later and it went through. 3. Plenty of dropped calls. I'm in full coverage, but the phone drops calls at least 10% of the time. Again, my phone is generally showing full bars when these issues arise. However, I have noticed that when these things do happen (especially the dropped call issue), the phone will go from full bars down to 1 quickly, and then back up to full bars. I'm going back up to college here in a few days, so I'm going to check out the performance there. Before I call Apple / AT&T and complain, I was just wondering if these issues happen to anyone else?
