I have a verizon iphone 4 and one day when I was riding in the car and I decided to update my apps because I had 10 not updated (over 3G obviously) and about 30 seconds after I hit update I went to the messaging app and my iPhone suddenly showed up with the apple logo like it was just booting up...but it didn't take the normal boot up amount of time...it was only like 10 seconds. Then it asked for my password on the lock screen and I entered it and my pages were all rearranged...mostly my folders...all folders on my home screen (the first page) were dumped...it's almost like the phone resprung...it fits the description with my experience with jailbroken devices. But it is not jailbroken...any ideas? This is the first time it's done it...it's ok now but if it keeps doing it will become an annoying problem...

Try reset to factory settings, put fresh ios firmware on there. Might help?
