The foothills of Appalachia
I had a switch easy rebel for my 3GS. From my experience I don't think scratching your phone would be anymore of an issue than it would be with any other case. The silicone part of the case covers the entire phone, just like with any other silicone sleeve. The acrylic part of the rebel then snaps over the silicone part of the case. It doesn't come into contact with the phone. So, unless you get dirt in between the silicone sleeve and the phone, you shouldn't have a scratching problem.

I liked my rebel pretty well. Just be warned that the silicone sleeve will eventually begin to stretch and not fit as well. The acrylic frame will keep it in place around your phone, but it doesn't look as good and it allows more dust to get between the phone and the skin.
