Iphone recognised in Windows but not in Leopard?

Hi. Have tried searching around but could not find any one with my particular problem so wondered if anyone could help. Here goes.

I used pwnage tool to restore 2G iphone to 2.1 with custom .ipsw. Now Leopard itunes does not detect the presence of an iphone.

Strange thing is, when I plug my iphoe into my work laptop running XP, it is recognised and asks me to set up a new phone.

Both systems are running itunes 8.

Any ideas on this one?

Download and reinstall iTunes and see if that fixes it. I had a similar problem and I reinstalled iTunes and so far all is well.
