So while I'm waiting for my new iPhone 7+ to come in I went ahead and made an appointment to get my iPhone 6S+ repaired. It needs a new charging port. Is this something that it repaired in store or do they exchange the device? It may also need a new battery. If it winds up needing both items would they just exchange it at this point? I would prefer them not to exchange it. Thanks!

just checking...I thought my charging port was bad... turns out it had lint deep inside. Just mentioning. After picking it out with a pin, all is fine.
