iphone restore question

If i restore my iphone now I want to be able to keep 3.0 and not 3.0.1, unless I am still able to jailbreak 3.0.1 like the exact same way as 3.0. If not how do i I go about restoring it and keeping it at 3.0
 
Click on your iPhone under devices on the left. Then hold shift+restore and then search for your firmware and restore!

thanks that was why I was having problems I got a macbook
