my iphone 3gssuddenly went into recovery mode the other day and forced me to restore it (no big deal) but the problem is i recently updated to win 7 and didnt have time to sync my phone to itunes so i lost my music apps contacts everything does any one have any solution (ps. i didnt download my music on itunes) Thanks in advance.

Applications you can re-download for free. Go via iTunes and click the 'Buy' button, if purchased before it will tell you you have already purchased, and you can download for free.

Contacts wise, I'd assume that if you did a back-up you'd be better off restoring that, but as I'm unfamiliar with the "upgrade" to Windows 7, I'm not sure where you'd still have it. I wouldn't THINK it would delete your back-up? Unless it was a clean install of the OS.

Music wise, unless you state which music provider you got it from, I can't help.
:D

clean istall of win 7 to many viruses and music wise use ur imagination lol
Thanks 4 the help

Well if you used a P2P such as limewire to get your music then unless you have a back up, it is obviously lost, you would have to re-download it.

As stated previously, anything purchased via iTunes can be downloaded via the same account for free again.

Contacts, as stated before would need to be backed up just like the music.

There is no "press here to make magic happen and regain all that was lost" button on the iPhone.

k thats what i figured thank u for trying to help i figured id ask just to make sure

Basically, clean install of Windows would have erased your previous back up of your phone.

So yeah, everything is gone
