iPhone Restore Question

if i restore my iphone to factory settings, will it affect my contract? ie will i have to reactivate my contract/set my contract up again, etc ? i understand that everything on my iphone will be deleted, but i've had problems with it for some time now and so a factory restore will will hopefully solve them.
