Hi

my iPhone got returned to Apple by UPS bucause the 3 Delivery attempts failed

in Apple page it says the bellow:

Once we receive your item, a refund is initiated immediately. If you canceled a pickup item, and you were billed for it, we initiate your refund immediately after you submit your cancel request. The way your refund is processed depends on your original payment method:

If you paid by credit or debit card, refunds will be sent to the card-issuing bank within five business days of receipt of the returned item. Please contact the card-issuing bank with questions about when the credit will be posted to your account.

but my iPhone was returned by the shipping carrier; not by me ( it actually says that I can't return because it already esceeded 14 days, but I didn't receive it in the first place)

my order status still says shipped, it was delivered to apple on Friday by End of the Day

so today is the 3rd Business day, and it's still showing in my Support File.

do I need to contact Apple to inquire about processing my refund? or will it be Automatic??

Its best to contact apple to be safe, but once they process the delivery failure, you should see a refund.
