iPhone ringer to computer speakers?

I've been googling for an answer to this, but I guess it's not a tremendously popular topic...

Is there a way to hear the iPhone's ringer through my computer speakers?

I need to be able to hear a phone call coming in whether awake or asleep, and obviously if I'm asleep, I'd like it to be loud enough for me to hear it.

I have the new iPhone 5, which means I only have the USB cable that came with it (i.e. no Dock with speakers I can use anyway.)

Is there a setting I can use to do this?

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

If you plug in an audio cord from the speakers into the iPhone jack it should play through

Argh, of course...the bad part is, I don't have the auxiliary cable I need, but I'll definitely get one in the morning...

I was thinking the sound could go through the USB cable, but I guess not.
