I've just purchased an iPhone 6 from a friend. It was working perfectly until I reset factory settings... now it keep restarting and displaying "android" logo before tuning back on and then a few minutes later restarting and doing the same "android" logo. Is it fixable? Do I just need to take it into a phone shop and have new software downloaded? Surely it's positive that it was working prior to my reset?

If it's displaying an Android logo, chances are you fell for an iPhone 6 clone. They're made to look very much like the real thing, but run a skinned version of Android instead of iOS.

Ahh well that could be the problem. If I remember correctly it was showing the apple logo when turned on/off prior to my reset... would that still happen with a clone? And if it is a clone is there anyway I can still use the phone? So basically stop it restarting? Again, it only started to do this after I reset it. Thanks so much for reply,it's been driving me crazy!

Yes, the skinned version of Android tries to reproduce iOS as closely as possible. Not quite sure how you'd get it working again, but you should contact your friend about this, especially if you paid for it thinking it was real (clones use lower quality materials and lower-end hardware).

It is always a good idea to have your device be checked by an experienced technician unless you don't wanna pay for it. They could tell if its fake or not, and could fix the problem and give you some solutions whenever it occurs again. vpn would also work with your device and try to locate websites that could help you solve your problem.
