    Hey guys,

I'm on my third Iphone and I'm having a crazy issue with it. My first Iphone lasted almost one year, then it started acting very buggy with software issues. I did a new restore, but the problems remained, so Apple replaced my 3G model with another 3G.

Second model lasted a week. People calling me could not hear me speaking to them, so Apple gave me another 3G.

I've had my third Iphone for less than a week now. The phone itself works great. But I noticed once or twice that the screen would become a series of colors for a few seconds. Imagine if you accidentally hit an old television and the picture was screwed up for a few seconds. It's the best way to describe it.

This would only last for a second or two, and then everything goes back to normal. But now I was browsing in Safari and the screen went bizerk, turning into several different colors. The colors would then fade after a few seconds and the screen itself was completely white. I waited for 15 seconds, and the screen remained white. I hit the reset button twice and I was back at the home screen. Everything appears to be working fine again, but I know this is going to happen again.

Can someone fill me in as to why this is exactly happening? What is the issue? And should I return it to the Apple retail store again? I'm losing my patience with all these buggy Iphone's.

Wanted to follow up my own post, despite the lack of any responses.

It was determined I most likely had a display issue, however I was given a service unit to replace my phone (same model 3G I already had, but not a "new" phone).

Fingers crossed this one is bug free.

Sounds a lot like the situation I had a couple of months ago. It was the third iPhone I'd had go bad in as many months, although the first with this particular problem.

Went to the Apple Store and couldn't get it to reproduce the fault at the Genius Bar, but they were sure it was just a screen issue. They took it into the back to replace the screen, but then said that as soon as they switched it on with the new screen the problem re-appeared, so they just swapped it out for a new one, which so far has displayed no weirdness.

Fingers crossed you have better luck this time around.
