iphone screen frozen. how to reset?

Hope this can be fixed. My phone is on the missed call page, and nothing is working. I tried pressing the buttons, tried restarting it but its completely dead/frozen.

Putting it on the charger does nothing and neither does connecting it to the computer

Any hints?

It's an unlocked 1.0.2

hold the top sleep button and the home button until it resets ... might be a while ...
