Is there a way to do this without jail breaking the phone? I read somewhere and lost the article and have searched. Anyone have a way? Was trying to record a game I play to send a friend to show some bug I found.
Thanks

I don't think this can happen on iPhone, I have searched this for quite a long time. Is there any third-party tool may make that happen on my iPhone 6?

There are two ways for you to record screen on your iPhone. I found these solutions when trying to record Clash Royale on iPhone.

One is by using Apple's AirPlay function to mirror your iPhone to PC wirelessly and then make recording.

The other one is by using apps like Shou, but it's not available in App Store, it can only be found in Emu4iOS Store.

quicktime will record the iPhone screen. you connect a mac with quicktime and a lightning cable. then you can record the iPhone screen as an external camera. set microphone to external. and you can record. the downside is the mov files are very large. recording from Netflix is not supported. apple wants iOS to look "pretty" so no matter what, any videos you make will show the battery at 100 % and the cellular at full signal!

here is a short video i made when when iOS 8 beta came out

Thanks for the replies, I am sorry I just saw them.
I want to do this without hooking up to anything? Sounds like there is no way?

as far as i know if you want to record the screen you need quicktime ( or maybe just image capture ?? ) and a lightning cable
