Another year.... here we go.

Apple haven't invested love and time to perfectly adopt the new screen sizes. The auto layouter stretches the screen and adds more space between UI elements.

You can like it or not.

But even without any work of adpation work from Apple. iPhone XS MAX is a MONSTER in screen size.

The only problem with those comparisons is that it shows the physical size of the X/XS as being smaller than the 6/7/8 thereby making the display look smaller in non-zoomed mode. This is not the case in real life.

Thanks for the comparisons!

Just out of curiosity, how did you get the size comparison shots?

Got my tempered glass screen protector for my Xs Max today and it appears that it is actually slightly wider than the 8 plus display which is pretty cool

Would be interesting to see the different GPS apps in landscape mode.

There are certain apps that I want to have the Xs Max "zoom" without showing more info, primarily in Maps where the iPhone X screen is too small to read the street names and other landmark names.

Some HTML emails have the print so small that they are unreadable in portrait mode, whether on my 7+ or X, and maybe not scaling them would make them readable.

But I want to see other things like an extra row of icons on the home screen, and more items in my todo list, or more forum posts in the browser, etc.

Thanks for the comparisons!

In XCode (the developer tool for iOS) you can start different sinulators for each iOS device on Mac OS X.
