iPhone screen size poll

The new iPhone has now been revealed and has many genuine improvements but to me the screen size is a major problem. I have a 3G and I never use it for surfing the web due to the unusable display size, what they should have done to really improve it is to increase the screen dimensions to 4 inches or higher. So I made a poll to see if anyone else agrees, it would be so much more enjoyable to use and functional online larger.

I think you forgot to add the poll. Personally, I am fine with the size of the screen and am looking forward to the new display.

If they can pull off a 4" screen without adding much to the overall size of the current iPhone, I'd buy it over the 3.5 inch screen.

So for those who've voted 3.5" You'd really buy it over a 4" if the actual phone dimensions didn't change? It's already been proven that it can happen without increasing the size by more than a few millimeters.

I like it how it is. If they can fit a 4" screen and keep the phone the same size, i'm ok with it. Anything bigger than 4" and i'll just go back to a dumb phone, or keep my iPhone 4 until it dies.

I don't really care to be honest, as long as we aren't talking about 5 inch screen.
I'm fine with it as it is now though.

It's a little early to assume anything about the next iPhone, though we can expect the speculating to only intensify in the next few months. iPhone folks are crazy for this kind of thing (as am I).

I vote for 4". That's still too damn small for browsing, but you don't really want to go bigger than that with a phone.

3.5 is perfect... I have iPad for my mobile browsing needs. A half inch really won't make that big of a difference when it comes to browsing mobile sites. If configured, most will still route to the lovely m.sitename.com URL for your mobile browsing enjoyment.

I think the current screen size is perfect. If they managed to get a 4" screen without increasing the phone size much I'd be on board though.

I'm really annoyed at people who think the phone is going to get massively bigger if a 4 inch screen is added. A 4 inch screen is perfect.
