Hi, i've been coding iPhone applications for quite a while now, but until recently I have never used Interface Builder.

I'm trying to create a different .xib for every UIViewController, and I managed to do that just fine by creating a view in every .xib, setting the File Owner as the ViewController I created and linking the view between them.

The problem that I now have involves metrics. I used to select the ViewController in IB and, in the Attributes window, select the simulated metrics I wanted (as you see, I add NavigationControllers and TabBarControllers programatically, and not through IB). Now that I don't have a ViewController to select its metrics (it's the File Owner) my views get all messed up, and they're all covered by the status bar.

I hope I have explained myself right. Does anyone know how to create a .xib for every ViewController and not have this problem?

    Thanks in advance!
