Apple already has a smaller, cheaper iPhone with the new design. Its called the iPhone 12 Mini.

Just vague rumours of an "SE plus" with a 5.5 or 6.1 inch display, coming out either 2021 or 2022. I'm going to hedge my bets on 2022 at this point but its just a guess.

Here in South East Asia at least, entry levels with large screen and bigger batteries are hot sales.

Ill be honest, if Apple release the SE Plus simply as an updated 8 Plus with A14 and 4 GB Ram, i would buy this on Day 1. If they put touch id on the power button then its a bonus. Im not really interested in a SE Plus based on the XR/11 though as it will have Face ID.

Any large iphone with LCD is day one for me if it comes a 1080p display.

Rumours are a little thin though, hopefully we will see some leaks soon 🤞.

Need to lay my trusty 7 Plus to rest very soon and I cannot wait out the OLED "trend" (damn you PWM).

I love the home button myself. Makes it easier to open for me.

There will be a time for the Home button to go away, but for now, I would rather have it, mask or no.

I'm pleased with my 2020 iPhone SE and would buy another in 2022, if they are updated, but not huge.
