As great as that would be, I don't see that happening.Sometimes I wonder if Pro-Motion 120 Hz will ever make it to iPhone SE and 11 models.

It’s been almost a year since I used a 6s, but I remember it didn’t have haptics it used to, I think the “home screen” haptics, like when holding an app icon and sliding through the menu. Or when using a number wheel, like in the Alarm app. Just gone.Did the 6S actually lose haptics as time went on? Do you mean the haptic vibrations or actual functionality?
The 6S has a much smaller/more primitive Taptic Engine so it didn't give many system-wide haptic feedback effects to begin with. The iPhone 7 got a much more robust Taptic Engine introduced a lot more of these effects.
Unless you're talking about "peek and pop" functionality which was eliminated for all devices with iOS 13.
(Also, as I posted above, the notification functionality was fixed for the SE 2 on iOS 14).
Before disease and war ravaged the 1st world*"Released in late 2019"
I can barely remember back that far. How young we all were, before disease and war ravaged the earth. I guess my phone is now classed as an artefact from a bygone age. Like a barometer, or a sextant, or a VHS recorder.
I know, right? I still have the 11 and it is practically a dinosaur now. But I don't use it for much except texting and occasional photos. My iPad Air gets far more use."Released in late 2019"

SEs target audience is people wanting a cheaper phone. The 13 Mini’s target audience is people that want a smaller phone, and is a much better phone just much more expensive.Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought they have the same screen technology? Both LCD, both the same pixel density. One is just a little bigger, but that defeats the purpose of the SE's main target audience, people who want smaller phones.
I must be a Luddite using an iPhone 7+ and a 27" iMac from 2017.I know, right? I still have the 11 and it is practically a dinosaur now. But I don't use it for much except texting and occasional photos. My iPad Air gets far more use.
My sister still rocks the 7+. It's a good phone.I must be a Luddite using an iPhone 7+ and a 27" iMac from 2017.
Nah, Tim is just BS-ing his way around. The 2020/2022 SE is not for people who like smaller phones since the 2016 SE and the 12/13 minis are actually smaller. The SE is basically for people who want a cheap iPhone, but Tim doesn't want to associate the word cheap with iPhones. But Apple thinks they’re for the same customer. Tim even said something about the SE being for people who like smaller phones, which is all but admitting the 14 Mini isn’t a thing.
2020: Apple made an SE that is larger than the 2016 SECorrect me if I'm wrong, but I thought they have the same screen technology? Both LCD, both the same pixel density. One is just a little bigger, but that defeats the purpose of the SE's main target audience, people who want smaller phones.
Isn't SE half the price of the mini, though? The SE is for budget-minded people who don't care for a larger screen or bells & whistles. Honda sells more Civics, not because they're better than Accords (they're not)...but because they are more affordable.2020: Apple made an SE that is larger than the 2016 SE
2020/21: Apple made iPhone mini, smaller than the SE, but decided to stop because sales were "low"
2022: Apple then says SE is for people who want smaller phones
Apple is full of BS.![]()
- A15 is fast, but that doesn't mean the A13 is slow. I mean what else you can do with that A15 that you cannot do with the A13? And even with the A15, the SE cannot do night mode.
There is no comparison ?I would like to see a comparison vs the 13 mini.
It's called inflation. Inflation-adjusted, the 2022 model is actually cheaper.I know that it's still a good deal for a 5G iPhone but could they not have just eaten that extra $30 and left it at $399? For some reason, that extra $30 just bugs me.
