Went to the Apple store Saturday to check out the SE and frankly I don't get it? The 16gb version is useless so your looking at a 500 dollar phone (64gb version) with a 4 inch low resolution screen! I honestly couldn't find any situation where I'd spend 500 bucks for this phone. Come on! Loading Safari and using it required constant finger gestures to expand text and then have to move left to right to read text. So much for one hand use. It seems to me a better alternative would be a darn flip screen phone since other than making phone calls and reading a text or two I'd find the phone to limiting. It's sad with Steve Jobs gone that market share will continue to dwindle. There will be some who will buy Apple because it's Apple but unless something changes market share will continue to dwindle. Don't get me wrong I'm an Apple fan, just bought an Apple Ipad Pro and love it but the Iphone SE for me is a 200 dollar phone at best.
I can't see things far away for crap, but up close my vision is perfect. I have no issues seeing things on a 4" phone without constantly zooming.

Besides, when people talk about one handed, use, they're talking about texting, selecting music, navigating a few apps, etc. not browsing desktop sites in Safari.

And yeah, if you want a decent amount of storage, you're looking at $500 for the 64GB. The alternative is $750 for a 64GB 6s. That's a 50% increase in price.

Or you can get a iPhone 6 with 64gb for $649

Not if you want the A9 with 2GB of RAM and the 12MP camera.

Because that's such a vast improvement. If your trying to save money and want a phone that A) is 64gb and B) larger than four inches the iPhone 6 is the only one under $700.... A cheaper alternative than the $750 6s

You're right about the processor and camera not being a huge improvement, but the extra RAM is. The 6s' screen resolution is a little higher, so it requires a bit more RAM, and after another update or two, you'll probably start to feel the lack of RAM on the 6.

But yes, if all you want is a larger screen with a lot of storage for the least amount of money, you can buy an iPhone 6 for $150 more. That's still quite a bit of money.

The res on the 6 and 6s is the same....

Unless you use it daily you will never get why 2GB of ram makes everything work so smoothly and quick. The SE just hauls butt at everything you put to it. For me the only thing the SE is missing is the HD display in the 6s.
