I use my 7 primarily for work and personal use, although I use my SE when I want to ensure I'm not tempted to check work emails (weekend, vacations, etc.)

I do like to generally swap SIM's on the weekend and use the SE, then swap back on Monday before work.

just wondering if there are people who uses iphone se as their 2nd or weekend phone etc.?

I actually used my iPhone SE as my primary device being how portable and mobile it was for its size. And my iPhone 7 Plus is my work related phone.

I use iPhone 7 as primary phone and SE and my backup. But actually either one is good as primary phone, the SE is still plenty fast with a good camera. Although the 7 is better for the beach.

glad to see I'm not that crazy thinking of getting a SE as secondary phone. I know for sure I won't be able use SE as my primary as my eyes won't be able to read anything LOL.

But when I go Mountain bike or out an about, just like that it's compact and easy to carry around. I do enjoy the 7+ but at times...little much in size.

Thanks guys...

I've been thinking of adding the SE as a second phone to my Verizon account. Does anyone know how easy it is to switch between two phones on Verizon? Is it just as easy as swapping sims back and fourth or is more required?

I switch between my 7 and se as I get tired of the loss of the headphone jack on the 7. I use an aux cord a lot at work and got tired of the adapter. First world problem.

I'm hoping it is easy as just swapping the SIM card.

I played with the SE tonight at Best Buy and I find it to be actually a fun little phone. BB don't have the 32gb so I'm thinking of going to Apple Store tomorrow and get a space gray one unless someone tells us here that swapping SIM card isn't all that's needed.

I have a 7 plus, a 7 and an SE. Yes it is as easy as swapping the sim. I set.the phone up with a backup of main phone. If you want to take the photos and texts back and forth you can backup and restore after each use or you can always email yourself photos to out them on the other device. It's nice to be able to change sizes for different neess/adventures! I picked up the SE for $290 at Best Buy last weekend.

Wow.

So it's that easy?

Let me see if I understood correctly. I can restore an iPhone 7 Backup into a brand new SE?

It's look a good idea. Just getting car's key to ride to nearest Apple Store.

I also have a 7 Plus, 7 and SE. The SE is for work, the 7 Plus is my daily driver, and the 7 is just hanging around. I like the SE because it doesn't take up too much room, is fast enough for work-related tasks.

AirPods can go between them both fairly easily, which is nice.

That's what I did. As long as they're both on the same OS version so you will want to plug your SE into iTunes and update to the current version. With the new update that just came out you will want to update your current phone before you do the backup.

Good luck!

Just bought my today. Space Gray one.

Switching from iPhone 7p after using the big screen since 6p is somewhat lazy.

I'm feeling lost in such small space. But wondering this will pass away.

I've walked away from Apple Store with my iPhone proudly in the jeans pocket.

Since iPhone 6p I had to hold it while walking.

Funny guy this SE.

I got the Silver SE 32gb yesterday... and it is so small. Having some weird doubts that I can get used to the size.... this thing is sooooooooo small...LOL.

I got 15 days... to see if I can get used to it. always had the space grey or matte black 7+.. but kind of digging the silver and white face....

Now.. I'm assuming I can't have my apple watch connected to both phones? I'm thinking I need to unpair and repair everything as I switch phones?

Yes, you can't.

I've made the backup trick, but the Watch are saying to pair it again. While paired, you don't have to restore it, it will work soon after paired.

But it cannot be paired with two iPhones at the same time.

The compact size of the SE is a thing of beauty. Fits easily in the front pockets; super light weight and it's a power-packed little beast. Also even more perfect when coupled with an Apple Watch.

The SE is my daily driver and I couldn't be happier. I'm done with these monster phablets phones. That's what iPads are for. JMO.

I can't imagine anyone needing a second phone unless you need a "Business" and a "Personal" line.

I'm picking up an iPhone SE as my primary phone. The 6 and 7 are way too big for daily use, and the Plus version both are laughably so.
